Cala d'en Marçal
CALA D'EN MARÇAL
Cala d’en Marçal, also known as Caló d’en Marçal, is a large beach with white sand and rock. It is 100 m wide by 150 long.
It is formed by a natural inlet from the coast, which widens as it approaches land, at the mouth of a torrent. It has crystal clear waters and is well sheltered from the waves.
It is surrounded by low wooded cliffs and around the beach are tall pine trees that provide pleasant shade and share space with the scrubland.
While the left side of the bay seems rather unspoilt, a boardwalk runs along the right side. It is slightly higher and as a result offers magnificent views over the beach and the entire bay.
There is parking near the beach, but very few cars fit.
